I feel a warm and safe feeling run through my body. Sitting in the plane on my way from Bali to Australia.

I check the map on the seat to see where we are and the plane has just reached Australian soil. My body knew before my mind, that we reached home.

Every time I return to this place I know beeply within me, that here is my spiritual home and that I will live here one day.

Probably I’ve seen more of Australia than most Australians and each place has brought me very special people, experiences and opportunities so far. The land, the landscape, the people are so different in each part and feel overall light and healing to me.

I believe that as sensitive and empathic beings, we can feel what happened in places and whereas Europe has had so many wars fought on their territory and a very dark history, Australia feels like a pure and clean canvas for the most part. Of course there have been and still are terrible thigns happening to indigenous people, which I don't want to diminish, but compared to most other places in the world, there is still so much pure and untouched land.

However Ive also met people who did not like Australia at all or maybe have just seen limited places, so in this article, I wanna give you an overview of all the locations I´ve visited and my hightlights on the journey.

Australia has it all: busy cities, beautiful beaches, mountains, desert, rainforest, amazing coffee and food, partylife, amazing overall quality of life and friendly people.

Depending on what you want to experience, you wanna choose your destination accordingly. Considering the big time difference to Europe but also to the American Continent and also the geographical distance, I´d say it only makes sense to for a month or more. The best travel time is generally between October and April if you like warm weather. If you prefer it a bit cooler, you might wanna go from April to October or spend more time around Tasmaia. The North never really gets cold, it just rains a lot from April till October and becomes very humid.

The easiest way to get around is by plane. There are two budget airlines operating domestically which are Jetstar and Virgin Australia. Sometimes there are several airports in one place, so make sure to book the right one, as sometimes the other one is far away from the actual destination.

However on the Eastcoast it's also possible to go by train or bus between Brisbane, GC and the Byron Area.

Lots of people decide to also live and travel in a Campervan. You can find your vehicle on Facebook marketplace or in Facebook groups or in hostel whiteboards and on gumtree. Just make sure your route is setup for campervans, as sometimes iit'shard to find a place for the night or places are expensive. The area aroudn Byron Bay seemed to be extra difficult and so are the bigger cities. Whereas Perth and Tasmania are perfect for that kid of travel.
